More music…

Since a few people took the trouble to watch my YouTube music video (or at least click on the article containing the link), here’s another. I’ve been re-mastering some old recordings, and some of them seem to lend themselves to visuals and a small YouTube presence. Embedded below the fold.

This was a song written way back in the early eighties, recorded soon after the millennium, and remixed last week. Looking back, I think the string section works quite well, and I got the chance to use a flanged base in wide stereo. The ancient Epiphone 12-string in the video is the one I wrote it on, which is really overdue for retirement.

I won’t be buying a Guild, though, given the extent of the royalties for my two books that arrived this morning! Any aspiring writers out there? Do some local music gigs instead: it pays better.
