Soon after the Epstein files were released, the MSM tried, apparently unsuccessfully, to launch a story that Epstein was actually employed by Russian Intelligence to create a honey-trap to uncover Western secrets.
The Telegraph rolled out “ex MI6 agent” Christopher Steele to add credence to this, which of course immediately disproved it instead. Steele is the shyster behind the fake Russiagate dossier on Donald Trump, as well as having a dubious involvement in the strange Skripal poisoning incident in Salisbury some years ago. He is regularly trotted out to blame Putin for everything in the world, and can be trusted to be untrustworthy.
It doesn’t help the suggestion’s credibility, of course, that Epstein is said to have worked for the “KGB,” which was disbanded at the fall of the Soviet Union decades ago. The whole story seems designed to feed into the remnants of popular Cold War paranoia, and to distract people from thinking beyond the “Mad Dictator Putin” trope that seems part of the Western Deep State playbook, from precipitating the war in Ukraine to keeping Donald Trump out of office. Furthermore, if the KGB story is concluded to be implausible, perhaps Epstein’s cesspit will be seen as nothing more than a playground for the morally deficient elites, rather than a Deep State enterprise.
But that Deep State connection must gain traction from the very lockstep appearance, in so many media, of this “It’s the Russians” story, including the involvement of its convenient “retired” spokesman, Christopher Steele. The trouble is, that effortless harnessing of the media in service of a well-known globalist “talking point” only increases the likelihood that the Epstein empire was not simply a cabal of dirty old philanthropaths, but a Deep State project.
It’s long been suspected, and the released material strengthens the suspicion, that Epstein’s role was, in part, to entrap the Peter Mandelsons and Andrew Mountbattens of this world by the threat of blackmail for their paedophile perversions, and so extort sensitive information. He wasn’t simply extorting money, because the Mandelson debacle shows he was actually handing money out to the contacts. The money came from somewhere.
So the “KGB” line seems likely to be a “limited hangout” to divert attention from the long-held claim that Epstein was in the pay of some other Intelligence organisation. MI6 has been suggested, and the CIA even more seriously named, given the official cover-up of the whole affair. This includes Epstein’s murder in US State custody, or perhaps his being switched for an anonymous corpse, if that’s not too much of a Nero redividus myth… today’s truths are, after all, stranger than most myths.
But sadly the front-runner as the backer, and prime-mover, for Epstein Island is Israel’s Mossad. Not only do we have Epstein’s ethnicity and his closeness to the Rothschild family, and various released e-mails describing (actually somewhat offensively) Jewish manipulation of the money markets, but there is also the glaring fact of Ghislaine Maxwell’s centrality to everything. Her villainous father Robert Maxwell’s alleged dirty work for Mossad is not contradicted by his prominent tomb on the Mount of Olives, which I myself have seen in all its glory.
This troubles me, because not only do I reject the Candace Owens school of anti-semitic “Protocols of Zion” conspiracies, but I thoroughly support Israel as a nation, and the Jewish people as, overall, some of the best people in the world. There are theological complexities about the role of Israel as God’s chosen people, and of their long spiritual exile relating (in my view) to rejection of Yeshua as their Messiah. And I’m under no illusions that the majority of Israelis are not secular, and no less hedonistic than most Western gentiles.
Yet the seriousness with which very many Jews take torah, especially since the atrocities of October 7, the respect for law and democracy, the nation’s attempts to pursue its conflicts in as civilised a way as warfare makes possible, all lead me to view Israel, inasmuch as this is possible with any country, as one of the more virtuous nations. The vehemence with which the worst people in the world hate them, whilst blatantly lying about them, only increases my solidarity.
Now, for Israel to be spying on Britain or the US would not trouble me much. Everybody – including the Russians – does it to everybody else. Even using blackmail to get the secrets of the powerful is a legitimate part of the game – why should we have any sympathy for the secret degeneracies of the elites? I don’t even begrudge Israelis their respect for Mossad in its operations against the nation’s enemies – if terrorists don’t want to be blown up by their pagers, then they should stop blowing up others.
But… the victims in the Epstein scandal are not, primarily, the amoral sexual perverts named or redacted in the files, whether they be exposed, fleeced or even murdered to keep them quiet. The victims are a stream of underage and mainly socially disadvantaged girls (assuming no “rent-boys” have also come to light), and not only were they immorally exploited, but at best silenced by lawfare, and allegedly raped, tortured or even “snuffed” for gratification or to silence them.
And no nation’s security services have the right to commission deeds like that, any more than they have the right to organise rendition flights to illegal torture centres, as our own country has, or to foment wars in which their own working-class soldiers die for concocted reasons.
We won’t be told, it seems, if Epstein was an agent of Israel, America, Britain, Russia, China, none of the above or all of the above. But Proverbs 14:34 speaks truth when it says:
Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people.
And that entials divine judgement whether that nation be the Land of the Free, the Land of Hope and Glory, or the Promised Land. It is the people of America who have forced the disclosure of the Epstein files against, it seems, the resistance of governments of both stripes. Likewise it must be the people of any nation whose institutions have deliberately harmed the innocent to expose the evil, to repent of the pollution of their land, and then to purge it ruthlessly before God himself does so, to their cost.
